Girl Scouts are placed in troops based on their age levels. Kindergarten and First graders are Daisy scouts, second and third graders are Brownie Scouts, fourth and fifth graders are Junior Girl Scouts, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders are Cadette Girl Scouts, ninth and tenth graders are Senior Girl Scouts, and eleventh and twelfth graders are Ambassadors. Each level of girl scouting uses age-appropriate activities to help girls learn new skills, make new friends, earn awards (petals, try-its, badges, journeys, etc), and learn to live by all aspects of the girl scout law.

Girl Scout Law:
